Return & Refund Policy

Return Eligibility

We accept returns of standard, non-customized shipping containers within 30 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return, the container must meet the following conditions:

• Container is in the same condition as delivered
• Container is unmodified and unused
• Container is accessible for pickup by our transport team
• Original purchase documentation is provided
• Return request is submitted within 30 days of delivery

Important: Modified or customized containers are final sale once customization begins. Custom orders cannot be returned once production has started.

Please include your order number, delivery date, and reason for return. Our team will provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and schedule a pickup.

Return Shipping & Fees

Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for all return shipping and pickup costs. We will coordinate transportation, and shipping fees will be deducted from your refund.

Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee applies to all approved returns to cover inspection, handling, and processing costs.

Example: For a $5,000 container purchase, the restocking fee would be $750.

Note: Do not ship containers to this address without first obtaining a Return Authorization (RA) number. Unauthorized returns will be refused.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your returned container:

• Inspection is completed within 3-5 business days of receipt
• You will receive an email confirmation of the inspection results
• Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method
• The refund amount equals the purchase price minus restocking fee and return shipping costs

Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account after processing.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

• Custom-built or modified shipping containers
• Containers with custom paint, windows, doors, or modifications
• Used or damaged containers
• Containers purchased on clearance or final sale
• Accessories, parts, or add-ons (unless defective)
• Containers that have been altered or modified after delivery

Damaged or Defective Containers

If your container arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect:

Report within 48 hours: Contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos and a detailed description.

Inspection: We will schedule a virtual or in-person inspection to assess the damage.

Resolution: Approved claims will be resolved through repair, replacement, or full refund at no cost to you. Shipping fees for defective/damaged items will be covered by Nunes Tiny Homes.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different container size or model, please return your current container following this policy and place a new order.

Cancellations

Before Delivery: Orders can be cancelled before shipping. A cancellation fee may apply if the container is already in transit.

After Delivery: Standard return policy applies (see above).

Custom Orders: Deposits on custom-built containers are non-refundable once fabrication begins, but may be transferred to a different project within 12 months.

Warranty Information

All new shipping containers come with a structural warranty covering manufacturing defects. Warranty terms vary by container type and condition:

• New (One-Trip) Containers: 1-year structural warranty
• Cargo-Worthy Containers: 90-day structural warranty
• As-Is Containers: No warranty (sold as-is)

Warranty claims must be reported within the warranty period with photo documentation.
