Nunes Tiny Homes delivers shipping containers nationwide. This policy outlines our shipping timeframes, costs, delivery requirements, and what to expect when your container arrives.
Delivery Timeframe
Standard Delivery: 5-10 business days nationwide
- Order Processing: 1-2 business days to prepare your container for shipment
- Transit Time: 4-8 business days depending on your location
- Total Delivery: 5-10 business days from order confirmation
Delivery times may vary based on your location, weather conditions, and carrier schedules. We will provide tracking information once your container ships.
Custom Containers: Modified or customized containers require additional fabrication time (typically 2-6 weeks) before shipping.
Shipping Costs
Flat Rate Nationwide Shipping: $300
We offer simple, affordable flat rate shipping of just $300 to anywhere in the continental United States, regardless of distance.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are non-refundable once your order is processed.
Delivery Requirements
To ensure successful delivery, your site must meet the following requirements:
Site Access:
- Clear, straight-line access for a tilt-bed delivery truck (minimum 14 feet wide)
- Overhead clearance of at least 14 feet
- Firm, level ground capable of supporting a loaded delivery truck (40,000+ lbs)
- No low-hanging power lines, tree branches, or obstructions
Placement Surface:
- Level, compacted surface (gravel, concrete, asphalt, or compacted earth)
- Adequate drainage to prevent water pooling under the container
- Foundation blocks, piers, or concrete pads (recommended but not required)
Permits & Regulations:
- Customer is responsible for obtaining any required permits for container placement
- Verify local zoning regulations allow shipping containers on your property
- Check HOA restrictions if applicable
Important: If the delivery truck cannot safely access your site or the ground is unsuitable, delivery may be refused or rescheduled at the customer's expense.
Delivery Process
Before Delivery:
- You will receive tracking information and estimated delivery window via email
- Our delivery team will contact you 24-48 hours in advance to schedule delivery
- Ensure your site meets all delivery requirements (see above)
On Delivery Day:
- Someone must be present to accept delivery and sign for the container
- Deliveries typically occur Monday-Saturday between 7AM-5PM local time
- Driver will offload the container using a tilt-bed truck
- Inspect the container for damage before signing the delivery receipt
After Delivery:
- Report any shipping damage within 48 hours to [email protected]
- Take photos of any damage for claims processing
- Review our Return & Refund Policy if the container is not as described
Delivery Methods
Standard Tilt-Bed Delivery (Included):
Most containers are delivered via tilt-bed truck, which tilts the bed and slides the container onto the ground. This method requires adequate space (approximately 40-60 feet) for the truck to maneuver.
Crane Delivery (Additional Cost):
If your site has limited access or you need the container placed in a specific location, crane delivery is available at an additional cost. Contact us for a crane delivery quote.
Forklift Delivery (Additional Cost):
For smaller containers (10ft, 20ft) in tight spaces, forklift delivery may be available. This service requires advance arrangement.
Delivery Delays & Issues
Delays: Shipping delays may occur due to weather, carrier schedules, or unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you of any delays as soon as possible.
Failed Delivery: If the driver cannot safely access your site or you are not present to accept delivery, a redelivery fee of $200-$500 may apply.
Damage Claims: Report any shipping damage within 48 hours of delivery. Include photos and a detailed description. Approved claims will be resolved through repair, replacement, or refund.

Once your container ships, you will receive:
- Shipping confirmation email with tracking information
- Carrier contact information
- Estimated delivery window

International Shipping
At this time, we only ship within the continental United States. We do not currently offer shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or international destinations.
